A Legacy of Care, A New Chapter
At Jalowy Legacy Dentistry, legacy is more than part of our name. It represents where we’ve come from, the responsibility we have to the families we care for today, and what we hope to leave for the generations that follow.
Our home at 1111 2nd Street has a longstanding history of caring for families in the Rosenberg community. From the Meadows family of dentists to Dr. John Cardwell, generations of patients have walked through these doors and built relationships with the dentists and team members who cared for them.
In 2026, that tradition continues with Dr. Jakob Jalowy—and with it comes another family legacy of dentistry.
Three Generations of Dentistry
For Dr. Jalowy, dentistry has always been a family affair.
Jakob is a third-generation dentist, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Dr. James Jalowy, and his father, Dr. Jeff Jalowy. Dr. James Jalowy spent his career caring for families in East Bernard at Jalowy Family Dentistry before recently retiring. Today, Dr. Jeff Jalowy continues to practice in East Bernard, carrying forward the family’s commitment to serving their community.
Growing up surrounded by dentistry gave Jakob a perspective that reaches beyond the clinical side of the profession. He saw firsthand what it means to care for the same families year after year—to know your patients, watch their children grow, and earn the kind of trust that can span generations.
Now, Jakob has the opportunity to continue the legacy his grandfather and father began while building one of his own.
By establishing Jalowy Legacy Dentistry in Rosenberg, Jakob is continuing his family’s tradition of dentistry to the community and creating something he hopes will one day become part of the story he passes on to his own children.

There is something especially meaningful about these two stories coming together.
Jakob is stepping into a practice with its own history of dentists caring for Rosenberg families while bringing with him three generations of a family devoted to dentistry.
Our goal is not to replace the history that came before us, but to honor it and build upon it.
We hope Jalowy Legacy Dentistry will be a place where patients feel known, families feel welcome, and relationships matter just as much as excellent dental care. A place where today’s youngest patients may someday bring children of their own through our doors.
